L & M Services, Inc. DBA ServiceMaster of Seattle (SOS) is concerned about your right to privacy. When you visit the SOS web site, you can be assured that any information you share with us will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to anyone outside of L & M Services.

E-mail addresses provided to L & M Services will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser.  This enables our system to recognize your browser and remember who you are so that you won't have to retype it.

Any information saved to your hard drive by the SOS web server can only be accessed by the SOS web server; Internet users and other companies cannot access this information. For security reasons, no personal information or credit card information is saved.  You must retype this information each time you submit information to SOS.

We also utilize cookies to track the effectiveness of online advertising.  This information is treated confidentially and will not be shared with anyone outside of SOS.  SOS will only use this information to make informed decisions in regard to online advertising.  This enables SOS to maintain low costs for you, our Customers.

The "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

Security

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts information and keeps the data private and confidential between your machine and the SOS web server. This technology makes it safe to transmit your personal information over the Internet.

Look for two security icons:

• The "s" after "http". Your web address should look like "https://....." in the address line.
• And the lock in the bottom status bar of your browser.

Currently, the SOS web site does not transmit any personal information over the Internet.

Policy Changes

L & M Services reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. In the event that we make a change to our policy we will post a notice of the change on this page.
